How It Works
From reserving your animal to picking up your custom-cut order, the process is straightforward, transparent, and handled with care every step of the way.
Reserve Your Share
Place your order online with a non-refundable deposit to reserve a whole or half beef, lamb, or hog. Timelines can vary depending on the season and processing schedules. Once harvested, the final hanging weight is confirmed and you’ll receive an invoice for the remaining balance.
Customize your cuts
Choose your preferred butcher— Bud’s Custom Meats (Penngrove) or Willowside Meats (Santa Rosa). The butcher will contact you directly to review cut and wrap options, packaging preferences, and timing. Custom cut and wrap fees are paid directly to the butcher at pickup.
Fill Your Freezer & Enjoy
Once processing is complete, you’ll pick up your order directly from the butcher shop. Your meat will wrapped, labeled, and frozen—ready for long-term storage.
